H.E. The Governor Martyn Roper visits TBLS

(via Instagram govcaymanislands) “I enjoyed a (covid-compliant) tour of Truman Bodden Law School yesterday led by Director Mitchell Davies, BEM and Mr. Scott Atkins, Deputy Director and PPC Course Leader.

“Since being established in 1982 the institution has grown and achieved a great deal especially in 1987 when it partnered with the University of Liverpool to offer the LLB degree. I was very impressed by the #enthusiasm and #dedication of the staff and students. I saw the extensive and rich collection of information within the Library, with law collections dating back to the 1930s.

“I was also impressed at the craftsmanship and beauty of the Attorney General’s Trophy for Best Performing PPC Student which was made by the Prison. Truman Bodden Law School is doing a great job teaching & preparing Cayman’s future #lawyers and has important role in culture, history and story of our Islands.”
