LLM Course Leader Laura Panades presented her research at a seminar honouring J. A. Roy Bodden.
Panadès argued that civic engagement is the common topic of Bodden and public procurement.
Then, she outlined how all citizens can engage with procurement to obtain information about public projects.
The conference, entitled ‘J. A. Roy Bodden – Public intellectual: Enlightening the Caymanian society’, discussed Bodden’s works.
The two-day seminar covered all areas of Caymanian society, including education, politics and economics.
The Cayman National Cultural Foundation hosted the event at the Harquail Theatre.
